To celebrate Cone denim’s 110th anniversary they decided to launch a natural indigo. It’s the first scalable production of natural indigo in the United States for 100 years.
Real indigo fades to a beautiful blue, like no other. Chemicals don't do blue quite like nature does. They just don't. The only reason it is isn't used much these day is because of its prohibitive cost.
So we thought, if Cone denim are celebrating being around for 110 years, we should celebrate how many jobs we have got back. So far.
As of today we have created 15 jobs, full and part-time. So this short run will have a leather back patch that says '15/400' on it.
